Welcome to CQ
New Campers & Families
Welcome to Camp Quality! Our programs are exciting and provide a safe place for kids to build self-confidence, develop skills, make new friends, and have fun. At CQ, kids with cancer are free to define themselves without the stigma of illness. Campers attend the camp closest to them and are partnered with a companion (camp leader) to ensure they have the support they need at camp. We offer a wide range of programs, with summer overnight camper programs for kids 7-17 years of age, virtual programs for kids 5-17 years old, and community programs for the whole family.
Our programs are free of charge.

Camp Programs
Camp-at-Home
Open to campers and siblings 5-17 years of age, CQ's virtual camp program simply brings the magic of camp, the activities, and fun directly to families! This year, we're partnering with our friends at Camp Quality USA, giving campers across Canada and the US a chance to connect and play!
Campers will receive activity cards for each day of the week and backpacks with coordinating activity cards. There will be LIVE morning sessions for campers and evening sessions for families. We'll even be hosting some teen specific evening programs. We can't wait to see you there!
Community Programs (Fun Days)
The shorter programs are a great opportunity for families and campers to get an extra helping of camp during the year. Fun Days are short and sweet, a little burst of camp! A Fun Day, could be a camp reunion, visit to a local attraction or apple picking.
Overnight Camps
Our signature program runs in 6 locations across Canada. This is a great week for patients, survivors and their siblings to enjoy a week away from home in a fun and supportive environment. Campers and volunteers come together for a week at overnight camp; with lots of traditional camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and archery! (Activities vary by region)
Family Camps
Family camps are designed to help families build connections with other families who have similar experiences. During our Family Camps, we offer many of the same activities similar to our summer overnight camps, like arts and crafts, archery, sports, campfires, and more. The weekend is designed around the family to encourage togetherness.
Leadership Programs
Our leadership program, New Heights is a program just for teens. Teens have the opportunity to participate in leadership programming (LIT) during their camp week. It’s a great opportunity for them to build relationships, confidence and learn about themselves and find their strengths.
Camp Locations
Camp Quality is pleased to serve campers & families in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. Programs are offered year-round in the following regions: Calgary, Red Deer, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area.
