A message from the Camp Director
Welcome to the Camp Quality Northern Ontario. Our Camp is located in a beautiful, serene setting at the west arm of Lake Nipissing. Not only are we nestled in one of the most beautiful places, but we’re also a place that has a real honest-to-goodness magical quality about it.
At CQ Northern Ontario, campers are given the opportunity to choose the challenges they want to tackle, push themselves to try new things, all while being celebrated for all of their accomplishments.
All of this fun is brought to you by our amazing volunteer staff, who are dedicated year round to bringing programs to children and families affected by cancer. Everyone is at camp to ensure that you have fun, you are safe, and have received extensive training in areas including: safety, medical issues of campers, child development, behavioural techniques and cultural awareness.
We are looking forward to a week of songs, dancing, Stage Night, funny costumes, star-gazing, friends, fantastic companions and so, so, so much more! Get excited and get ready, we are!

About Danielle Bourgeois-Lapiccirella
Danielle first got involved with Camp Quality Northern Ontario during the summer of 2015 as a companion. After discovering the incredible experiences that camp has to offer, she joined the COC as a Volunteer Coordinator. She later became the Assistant Director, and is now very excited to take on the role of Director. Her favourite thing about camp is seeing the amazing relationships between all the members of CQNO’s “camp family” every time they are reunited. The moment that the campers walk off the bus when they arrive at camp is the highlight of her year. When she is not camping, Danielle studies medicine at NOSM in Sudbury.
