CQ Camp-In

Bringing the Magic of Camp to Home

CQ’s Camp-In simply brings the magic of camp; the people, the programs, and the fun directly to our camp families in their homes. What we know from experience is that camp is more than a physical space. Camp is a feeling. Camp is a community. Camp is truly wherever you are.

CQ Camp-In will be accessible to families through mail-out activities and virtual
programming. Our goal is to create interactive camp experiences that promote our
goals and outcomes.

Camper FAQ.

What is CQ Camp-In?

CQ Camp-In brings the magic of camp, home to campers and their families.

Through the Spring, Camp Quality Canada will host virtual programs through our Facebook and Instagram for campers and families to participate in. Additionally, camp regions will host virtual family programs to keep our communities connected.

In the Summer, campers will receive mailed-out Camp in a Box activities to participate in a 5 day camp experience in their region. Activities have been intentionally designed to be fun, engaging, meaningful and challenging.

Camp in a Box includes age-appropriate activity cards, activity supplies, a ‘campfire’ songbook, and camp swag. It will compliment virtual programming, and make the camp experience accessible to families who do not have the access to participate virtually.

*Please Note campers between the ages of 14-17 will receive one ‘Camp in a Box’ but will be eligible to participate virtually in their regional summer camp and New Heights.

What will we be doing?

Through the Camp in a Box and Virtual programming, campers and families will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Science
  • Nature & Discovery
  • Kids Kitchen
  • Mindful Moments
  • Campfires
  • Games
  • And Much More!

How Do I Participate?

Simply log in to (or create) your account on CampDoc and select your preferred programs.

We will then ask you complete a short online registration form.

Similar to registering for our summer camp, our requirements for camper online programs are:

  • Campers must have or had an eligible diagnosis or be the sibling of a child who has or had an eligible diagnosis.
  • Campers must be 4-17 years of age
  • Family programs are open to participants of all ages.
  • For more information on eligibility click here.

If you know a family or child who qualifies for our program and would like to participate in CQ Camp-In online programming, encourage them to sign up here.

Do I need to attend everyday?

No, just like at in-person we’re flexible and so is our schedule. Sign up for the week of camp and your regional Family Coordinator will get in contact with you about your availability for the week!

If I’m between the ages of 14-17 can I attend my local camp and New Heights?

YES! We’d love to see you at both programs. Teen campers, 14-17 years of age are eligible to register for their regional camp week and New Heights teen week for virtual camp; but will only receive one ‘Camp in a Box’.
